The first Sector 10 Alpha—10.0.0-alpha1—release is out! We are a bit behind our initial timeline but we are getting there.

For content- and information-heavy sites that use advanced editorial WYSIWYG features, the move from CKEditor 4 to 5 can be a challenge.  

The security update to address SA-CORE-2023-006 will be included in Sector 9.5.8.

The upgrade to Sector 10 will require some manual clean-up tasks so we started an Issue on Drupal.org explaining the process—Bridging the gap between Sector 9 and 10.

9.5.8 includes more updates to prepare the 9.5.x. to 10.x upgrade path and a security update.

We've been a little quiet recently, but fear not - behind the scenes we're still working away at Sector and making sure it's up to date with the latest security updates and bug fixes.

5.0.0-rc3 is the latest step in our roadmap to a full point release! With this release we introduce further changes and improvements to the media management. 

8.x-4.0-rc4 includes the latest security updates for Drupal 8.8.x.

5.0.0-rc2 includes the latest security updates for Drupal 8.9.x.

8.x-4.0-rc3 includes the latest security updates for Drupal 8.8.x and security updates for contributed modules included in the Sector Starter kit. 

5.0.0-rc1 completes our switch to the Sector Radix Starter theme, the update to Drupal 8.9, and semantic versioning. Also included are security updates for contributed modules. 

Our Sector frontend team has done the magic! Sector is one more distribution to go Radix.

8.x-4.0-rc2 completes the switch from media browser to media library with a new, preconfigured media type using Drupal core's new remote video feature. 

The 8.x-4.0-rc1 release includes the latest Drupal 8.8 release and our first step in adapting the new media library in core. 

With 8.x-3.0, our Drupal core is updated to 8.7. This will be followed on February 27th by Sector 8.x-4.0-rc1 - our first 8.8 release candidate. 

We've tidied up the Sector Index A-Z add-on, and its first beta release is out now!

Sector Index A-Z lets you list content on your Sector site in alphabetical indexes, with options to search and filter these indexes.

We have some eventful news - the Sector Event add-on beta release is out now!

Sector Events allows you to add an events section to your site - with an events archive, event maps, and more.

We have banished some bugs and have now moved the Sector Portfolio add-on from development to beta!
