In-page navigation elements can significantly improve usability on longer pages. The optional Sector Table of Contents feature provides a simple ToC automated from headings in the main body content.

Features and functionality
Sector Table of Contents is an optional module with in the Sector Starter Kit. It includes:
- New block: Sector › Table of contents
- New term in content options: Show table of contents
- New embedded content entity: Table of contents
- Theming
The basic Sector Table of Contents is available in Sector 10 Alpha12 and more is coming — see our change log below :)
Get started
1 - Enable 'Sector Table of Contents'
<your-domain>/admin/modules
2 - Place the block 'Sector › Table of contents' in the sidebar region
<your-domain>/admin/structure/block
- Hide the block title and set a heading instead, for example 'On this page'
- Choose your selector; h2 is default. You can add multiple selectors and separate them with commas. The selectors work based on CSS so you can use h2, h3, h4:first-child or summary for disclosures.
- Under Term, add 'Show table of contents' in the taxonomy term field, and choose 'Node from URL' in the node drop down selection.
3 - Clear both Drupal and browser caches
