Pasting text content from Google Docs or Word often adds unwanted mark-up to the WYSIWYG text field, and editors might not even be aware of it. The CKEditor Paste Filter adds a configurable filter to your texts formats to prevent anything from slipping through.

From Sector 10 RC1, the paste filter is part of the Sector Starter Kit. The CK5 plug-in replaces CK4 Paste from Word feature and can be configured per text format using regular expressions*.

Set up for the CKEditor Paste Filter

All Sector Text Formats are configure to use the Paste Filter with the default set of filters provided by the module. You can adjust the setting of each text format in the text format filter configuration.

*A regular expression is a tool used in computer programming to find patterns or specific sequences of characters within text. The mark-up is not for the faint hearted, so you might need to get a Developer to help you with any changes.
