Sector is an open source CMS Drupal distribution that is ready to go and easy to administer.

Sector allows you to organise your content in structures that your intended audience can grasp quickly.

Metadata is information (data) about information. Metadata might be visible to your audiences, or only seen by systems like social media applications and search engines.

The Sector distribution includes the latest stable Drupal core, a selection of Drupal custom modules and tailored custom modules by Sparks Interactive.

Next to the features and functionality provided by the Sector Starter Kit, Sector includes a growing number of Sector add-ons.

The file field upload destination in Sector is set to the public file system. This is good enough for most (but not all) sites.

Sector is built to be modular - the main building block is the Sector Starter Kit, which can then be extended using Sector add-ons. 

The Sector Starter Kit includes the Automated Logout module. 

As part of our Sector 9 roadmap, the Sector team is committed to a release schedule based on the Drupal core release cycle.
