The Content section of the AdminUI lets you create, view, and edit content - it will be one of the areas you access the most in the backend of your site.

You can access the content section by going to 'Content' in the AdminUI toolbar.

Editing content on your site is easy, but there are a few things to keep in mind when you're editing content that is already published on a LIVE site.  

Standard and section entry pages are page layout variants of the Page content type.

The homepage is built from many parts and editing it is different to how you edit other content. In this article you can see how to make changes to different parts of the homepage.

The Sector add-on Event content type lets you create events with a defined start date, end date, and location. This guide explains how to add and edit your event content.

Resource nodes can be found on your resources landing page and archive, with teasers of resources also displayed in other parts of your website.

The Sector Portfolio add-on offers a simple way to add a promotional portfolio or showcase to your site. This guide explains how to add and edit your portfolio content.

Sector Promotions offer a flexible content type to create and place ad-style promotions throughout your site. As part of the Sector Starter Kit, promotions are placed on the homepage, and this guide explains how to add and edit them. 

WYSIWYG templates allow you to expand the standard formatting options and to display your content in a more engaging way. This guide explains how use the templates in your WYSIWYG editor. 

You can add images, documents, and videos to your content directly from the WYSIWYG editor. The media browser allows you to select a file that has already been uploaded to your site, or you can upload a new one.

Drupal’s taxonomy management allows you to sort, organise, and label your content. The terms in a taxonomy can be used, for example, as filters for your resource library.

The Sector Starter Kit comes with a set of preconfigured content elements that are easy to adapt to your design and easy to edit with the Sector content authoring tools. 

If your site has the Sector Index A-Z add-on, you can add index items to two alphabetical indexes - one organised by title and one by topic.

If your site has the Sector Contact add-on, you can add a person, team, or  generic contact to your site. The contacts are displayed on a Contacts landing page.

Page nodes are hierarchical content organised in menus. Out of the box, your Sector site will have two public facing menus - the main menu and the footer menu.

In Sector, you can attach 'related content' to Page, Event, News, and Resource nodes. This related content can be in the form of attached files or links to other content (internal and external).

Banner or teaser images can be displayed in a number of places, and are available for pages, portfolio pages, contacts, and promotions.

Standard node settings are part of the node edit form and let you change various aspects of a content node - such as its URL alias and metadata.

The media browser is used for selecting and uploading images, videos, and documents to use in your content. It can be accessed via the WYSIWYG editor, and in fields used for selecting files (like teaser images).

Entityqueues allow you to create sortable queues (lists of items) of any content type.

In Sector, content administrators can add redirects from a specified URL path to an existing node on the website.
